agilitypics > Amy & Doyle - Jun 7 2009

One of the 'top notch' teams in our country... watching them run sometimes gives me goose bumps!! Amy is very talented and Doyle reacts instantly!
agilitypics > Flurk - Jun 6 2009

One of our best medium dogs... the only Belgian dog who became world champion up until now. He will probably get another shot at that title this year!
agilitypics > Pour Dominique - Jun 5 2009

An agility friend left us today... quite suddenly. We will remember her as a good person who had an incredible will to overcome the setbacks life threw at her health wise. She loved her dogs and our sport tremendously and will be missed... it's so strange and beyond comprehension to realize that someone you saw last week isn't there anymore.

In her spirit I choose for a white rose... have a safe journey Dominique.
agilitypics > Simple Beauty - Jun 4 2009

Many thanks for the nice comments on my butterfly shot! This rose would have been yesterdays DP, but I was too excited about those dazzling butterflies. I gladly offer this beauty to all you who visit my daily gallery, you're the best!!!
agilitypics > Butterfly - Jun 3 2009

I was shooting roses today when all of a sudden 7 butterfies drew my attention. They seemed particularly fond of these tiny pinkish red flowers... and were not disturbed by my presence. I had a good 150 shots of them in less than 10 minutes. I like this shot because of the neat details on the head.
agilitypics > About one month too late - Jun 2 2009

Sometimes natures timing is a bit off... these flowers (Lilly of the valley?) normally bloom around the first of may (hence why we call them 'May bells'). Well now it's the first of June, which makes these June bells... surely the fact that they had very little light will probably explain their tardiness. It wasn't easy to get them in focus ;-)
agilitypics > The will to grow where the light is - Jun 1 2009

Flowers and plants can do amazing things... they'll try to reach the light no matter what! Hope you all had some sunlight today (I had way too much again... one never learns!)

Hope to catch up with you guys and gals very soon!
agilitypics > One man and his dog - May 31 2009

A portrait I took two weeks ago, intrigued by the same intensive look in their eyes... they love agility if you believe their eyes.

Sorry for not commenting, way to tired and yet tomorrow another agility trial to judge. Will catch up though!!
agilitypics > Deafening noise! - May 30 2009

You may wonder what is happening here... nothing serious, just a lady who's calling (yelling, screaming) her dog to come back with the ball.
We went to see the second day of the European Flyball Championships... because my mother-in-law was invite to participate with a French team. What I thought to be a neat opportunity to take some flyball shots turned out to be a big disappointing. Because it's the European Championships a tent, covering the whole course, is has to be installed. This of course means that the dog run in unfavorable light conditions. I did get some fairly good shots, but not good enough for me.
The good thing was that the team of my 'jolie maman' got through the qualifiers and runs the elimination rounds tomorrow! Way to go Mika en Csango!!!
