Played around with an old lens Micro-Nikkor 105... back to basics (no rather trial and error) only the shutter speed was shown. Aperture was f8 and the light was 'poor' 'indoors). Shot some flowers and this lock. Guess this was my favorite for today.

Confined to the house... no inspiration... no interest... browsed longtime through my available shots. Finally treated a shot made during our trip in Austria last september. Didn't feel like color... prefer the dark side of Jurassic Park but my sweet wife wanted colors!!! My darling Caroline was getting a bit depressed... too much moody B&W pictures lately, so this splash of yellow is for her. The sun was shining brightly on the bouquet... so I thought why not! I have a lovely 'dark' version of this rose too ;-)

Another cemetery shot... it's probably the place to come in touch death and to realize the mortality of all things. Certainly when you pass the children's graves... heaven must have a great number of angels. How do you capture an angel...

It was a dark and extremely wet day... perfect for a shoot at the cemetery. I didn't have to do much to make this shot look dramatic and moody.

Had to look very hard to find some mushrooms to shoot today, didn't find any at the usual places. Finally got three species... this pitiful one has to do as daily.
At least it has some color :-)
